SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the used in the electrophotographic images forming device development device and used in the electrophotographic images forming device coupling element. Developing cartridge comprises a housing; developing roller having lengthwise axis L1, developing roller is rotatably supported in housing to allow rotation about axis L1; and a coupling element having a longitudinal axis L2 and having (I) a portion of transmitting a rotary force for transmitting a rotary force to a developing roller, (II) a portion of receiving the rotary force and (III) a connecting portion which connects the rotary force receiving portion and the rotary force transmission portion, wherein the coupling element is movable between (I) a first position in which the longitudinal axis L2 of the coupling element is substantially parallel to and offset from the axis L1 of the developing roller so that the axis L2 does not pass through the developing roller, (II) a second position in which the axis L2 is inclined relative to the position of the axis L2 when the coupling element is in the first position, and (III) the third position in which the axis L2 is inclined relative to the position of the axis L2, when the clutch element is in the first position, and in the direction opposite to the direction in which the clutch element is inclined when in the second position.
EFFECT: providing a mechanism for moving the coupling on the side of the developing device to ensure uniform rotation of the developing roller.
