Clutch member is configured to transmit a rotary force from the drive shaft to the developing roller, which is supported by the movable member, wherein the developing roller supported by the movable member is movable in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axial direction of the drive shaft, the coupling member comprising: a rotary force receiving portion engaged with a rotary force applying portion to receive a rotary force from the drive shaft and a rotary force transmission part for transmitting a rotary force received through the rotary force receiving part to the developing roller, coupling element is configured to receive angular position of transmission of rotary force for transmission of rotary force for rotation of developing roller on developing roller through part of transmission of rotary force, and angular position before engagement, in which coupling element is deviated from angular position of transmission of rotary force, and angular position of disengagement, in which element of coupling is deviated from angular position of transmission of rotary force.
EFFECT: technical result is providing the coupling movement mechanism from the developing device side to ensure uniform rotation of the developing roller.
