FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for illumination and irradiation of potato sprouts consists of a body made in the form of a support with test tubes, in which potato sprouts are placed in the nutrient solution. Test tubes are made of transparent light-conducting material. Outer side, with the exception of the bottom, is covered with light-reflecting sputtering with 20–30 % light transmissivity and has ribs formed by reflecting and guiding faces. Angle of inclination to vertical of each higher reflecting face is higher than that of lower-lying face. Under each test tube there is a light guide and phyto-LED powered from the power supply unit.
EFFECT: efficient distribution of the light flux emitted by the light source.
