FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with obtaining healthy and productive initial material for subsequent potato seed growing. One should select variety-typical, leveled large-sized tubers, immuno-enzymatic search among classified tubers and their sprouts - samples being free of wide-spread viruses (X, S, M, and Y), sterilization and regeneration of minisprouts of 0.5-2 cm size upon the medium by Murasige and Skug, At regeneration one should cultivate explants at 22 ± 3 C. One should test productivity in deposited and multiplied lines to select the best ones for collection and manufacturing sanitized initial seed tubers. The present innovation enables to decrease production and temporal expenses while obtaining virus-free potato plants.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
