FIELD: monitoring systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for monitoring of sea level in conditions of negative temperatures of atmospheric air. Summary: device is made in form of sealed vertically mounted on sea bottom cylindrical structure with through holes (18) in underwater and above-water parts. In the above-water part of the structure there is platform (4) leveled relative to the geodetic reference with a sea level sensor (5). Structure is equipped with a tight casing made in the form of a flexible cylindrical shell (19) with a variable inner volume. Lower base (21) of cylindrical shell (19) is tightly fixed on inner surface of cylindrical structure at height not higher than the lowest value for the whole observation period of sea level value. Upper base of cylindrical shell (19) is tightly fixed above leveled platform (4). Walls of cylindrical structure are made in form of heat-insulating structure. Through holes (18) made in above-water part of cylindrical structure are covered with porous heat-insulating material. In the process of monitoring, the distance between the water surface filling the inner volume of the structure and leveled platform (4) is periodically measured.
EFFECT: monitoring of sea level in conditions of negative temperatures of atmospheric air, high accuracy of measurements.
