FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: field of application: electrical equipment. Method of checking electric power accumulation device for presence of short circuit includes the following stages: voltage measurement, on which voltage of pre-charged electric power accumulation device is measured before determination; determining time change of current flowing to electric power accumulation device from external power supply source, or stable value of current due to constant application of output voltage of external power supply source, equal to measured voltage of device before determination, to device of electric power accumulation; and determining the presence of internal short circuit in the electric power accumulation device based on the determined temporary change of current or its absence based on the stable current value.
EFFECT: provision, during the electric power accumulation device manufacturing, of the electric power accumulation device checking for internal short circuit.
