FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to methods of controlling electrical resistance between multiple electrical circuits. Technically, this solution has no similar counterparts. Device for control and switching of circuits “IRA” (measuring relay apparatus), then DCSC, is a sealed housing with internal thermal insulation, in which the following external electrical connections and sealed housing are provided. General schematic diagram of the device is presented in Fig. 1. In fig. 1 CU – control unit, WDTCM – wireless data transmission and control module, DS – decoder-switch, DM – decoder-meter, RU1…RU5 – relay units, ICU – indication and control unit, TCS – unit of thermal control system, VSU – voltage stabilization unit, AB – accumulator battery (self-contained power supply), SPC connector – plug connector for tested cable connection. Device may operate either from an external source or from AB. After the instrument is switched on, the TCS generates an internal atmosphere at the DCSC to the preset parameters. DCSC mode is selected via ICU: self-test, work with recorded program, operation with external control, connection with external control device, etc. In the process of checking, according to the specified program or by commands of the external control device, CU transmits the parallel binary code on the K bus to the DS. DS converts this code into commands for RU1…RU5. In RU the specified checked circuits are connected to buses I or II, at that each of RU switches its part to tested circuits. Thus, the tested electric circuits can be switched in various combinations in composition of 3 groups: combined and connected to the bus of the first measuring contact (I); combined and connected to second measuring contact (II) bus; disconnected and not connected to any bus. After completion of commutations CU gives instructions in DM for connection of buses I, II and/or housing contact with preset program to internal resistance measuring bridge, then relay in DM connect output of this bridge to ADC CU. Thus, the code from the ADC corresponds to the measured active resistance between the unknown circuits. CU disconnects DM and performs program processing and recording into internal memory of obtained data. In compliance with preset verification program, CU may re-overhaul DM or re-commutator DS. Upon completion of the test, the CU through the ICU signals its positive or negative passage, all the verification data are stored in the CU internal memory and can be transmitted to the external control device. Disclosed scheme of DCSC allows commutating the tested circuits in groups in various variations, has the ability to record, store and transmit inspection programs and obtained data, which enables automatic analysis of results of checks and self-monitoring, wherein modular circuit of device construction enables to timely detect and perform replacement of faulty units.
EFFECT: technical result when implementing the disclosed technical solution is possibility of inspecting integrity and insulation resistance of cables, automatic fault search in cable or cable network, connected circuits switching in accordance with the specified circuit, saving of this switching circuit in the switched off state, which reduces power consumption of the whole device.
