SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment, namely, to checking the electrical installation of electric harnesses. Device comprises an external power supply unit with an automatic switch and with power supply blocks, to which an internal power supply source is connected, and a switching unit with switch modules. Test voltage generator unit includes interconnected DC test voltage source and connecting unit. Control and input-output unit of information includes a keyboard, a mouse, a control controller, a monitor, and a printer. Control unit comprises multimeter and voltage source of functional control. Multimeter is connected to the connection unit of the test voltage generation unit and the power supply block. Functional control voltage source is connected to switch module and power strip. Connecting unit is also connected to the control unit and the internal power supply. Switch module is made in the form of connection board, switch boards, control board, address selection board. Connecting unit is made in the form of a board, which includes a register, keys, relays, transistors. Switches are configured to control the relay for connecting the test voltage of alternating current to the buses of the switching unit, switching the supply of test voltages of direct and alternating current and stepwise connection of test voltages.
