FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science and represents a method of cultivation of strongyle larvae from herd horses at year-round pasture keeping in conditions of critically low temperatures of Yakutia, characterized in that, at ambient air temperature of -5 °C and lower to -55 °C frozen samples of feces of horses are put into refrigerator at temperature of +8 °C for 24 hours, then held at room temperature of +22 °C for 12 hours, then put in thermostat at temperature of +28 °C, thereby providing smooth transition of temperature fluctuations to reduce stress factor on helminth eggs and further development of larvas, for study of cultivated strongyle larvae use test tubes with volume of 5 ml, amount of suspension is 2.1 ml, which is 30 drops of suspension with larvas, to dislocate larval strongholds, 0.7 ml of Melizeptol Rapid solution is used, then one drop or 0.07 ml of larval suspension is applied on a slide and a large magnification of the microscope is used to calculate the number of larvas in a suspension to determine the conditional intensity of strongylatosis invasion and to determine their generic and specific accessories.

EFFECT: method enables the effective assessment of the invasion intensity, larval survival, the probability of year-round reinfection of horses, and the accurate lifetime diagnosis.
