FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, in particular, to methods and devices for preventing a person from falling when ascending and descending on overhead power transmission towers. Method consists in providing non-stop movement of the linear assembler along the support due to the movement of the safety catching slider along T-shaped profile 1 or the movement of the safety catching carriage along C-shaped profile 2. Runner consists of housing 3, side parts 4, 5 of which have runners 6, handles 8 and energy absorber 10. Energy absorber 10 at one end 12 is fixed in hole 13 of handle 8, and second end 14 is connected with a connecting file with a safety belt of a linear installer. According to the second embodiment of the invention, a safety catch carriage is used, consisting of wheeled chassis 18 with movable tooth 19, mount 20, connected to tooth 19 and through intermediate link 21 with tape damper drop 22. Damper 22 is connected with connecting carabiner 24, hook 26 thereof connected to loop 27 of the safety belt of the linear installer. C-shaped profile 2 is performed with a number of holes located along length thereof; and the carriage is equipped with absorber 28, mitigating the effect of dynamic loads. Safety catching slider and safety catching carriage move along T-shaped and C-shaped profiles 1 and 2, respectively, synchronously with the linear adjuster moving up or down the support, and when linear mounter breaks away from support, movement thereof is immediately stopped, thus preventing its falling from line support.
EFFECT: invention provides reliable protection of a person from falling when working on supports of various types of overhead power lines, and also allows to significantly simplify the technological process of the linear installer on overhead power transmission towers due to the fact that the worker does not have to constantly re-fix the device at each level of the relevant work.
