FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rolling. Heat-insulation device (1) for heat insulation of metal material in rolling mill comprises bearing element (2), on which there is a certain number of heat-insulating elements (3). To extend the service life of such device, the invention provides that at least one heat-insulating element (3) is formed by a plurality of side elements (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9), which form a receiving space for heat-insulating material between each other, wherein four side elements (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) in their joined lateral areas are connected to each other by means of joint (10) of hinge type.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to expand structural elements under action of heat load without their damage.
