SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the unwinding and bending of a metal sheet for the manufacture of a metal strip intended for the manufacture of a sealed membrane of a fluid storage tank. The device comprises a chassis, at least one driving roller mounted on the chassis with the possibility of rotation around the first horizontal axis to ensure the advancement of the metal sheet in the direction of advancement, and forming elements supported by the chassis. The forming elements comprise at least one first forming element and one second forming element, respectively, made with the possibility of bending the first side edge and the second side edge of the metal sheet at a certain angle relative to the first axis. A protective film is applied to the metal sheet by means of a metal sheet protective film applicator.

EFFECT: no need for additional surface treatment of the tank before its inspection and commissioning.
