FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating, particularly for production of galvanic coatings with tin-cobalt alloys on steels or copper, and can be used in electronic industry, machine building, instrument making, automotive industry and other industries. Electrolyte contains, g/l: tin sulfuric 5–20, cobalt sulfuric acid 5–10, ammonium oxalate 80–100, preparation OC-20 0.4–0.6 and water up to 1 litre.
EFFECT: reduced corrosion of coatings with simultaneous reduction of environmental load on natural water due to reduced toxicity of waste water.
