FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building and, in particular, to electric starters for starting gas turbine plants used in gas pumping units and electric stations. Electric drive for start-up and scrolling of the gas-turbine plant includes an electric motor made in the form of a synchronous electric machine on permanent magnets, connected to a planetary reduction gear serving for increase of the electric motor moment. Output shaft of planetary reduction gear is connected with controlled electric clutch providing for switching on and off of electric drive by commands via control unit from GTP electric drive control system. Electric drive is equipped with rpm sensor, which is intended for determination of actual speed of electric drive output shaft. Output shaft of controlled electric couplings is connected to GTP drive box with possibility of disconnection. GTP reduction gear transmits rotation to the turbine. Electric drive is additionally equipped with a control device connected through the control unit to the turbine rpm sensor. Electric drive is controlled by GTP electric drive control device. Electric drive control device serves for analysis of obtained information from GTP rotation sensor and electric drive speed sensor, determines electric drive operating modes commands and transmits them to control unit. Control unit transmits commands to frequency converter, which controls electric motor of electric drive, and to controlled electric coupling.
EFFECT: obtaining an electric starter, which allows not only to start gas turbine plants, but also to scroll the rotor of gas turbine plants during emergency and planned shutdown of GTP.
