FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of laser beam movement in space, methods of scanning and tracking and can be used for navigation of spacecrafts. Device comprises a platform with a mirror and a rotary mechanism and, in addition, to increase the scanning angle, a beam control system which consists of a mirror fixed by means of a ball hinge mechanism on a cylindrical rod having a screw thread. Rod is screwed into the bushing rigidly fixed on an external surface of the platform, having an internal screw thread, thus the rod has possibility of axial movement and is connected to a shaft of the electric motor.
EFFECT: increase in the measurements accuracy.
