FIELD: computer engineering; data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method, use of the method, a computer data medium and a simulator for determining deviation of shape. In the method, the processor applies data describing the geometry of the structural structure, arranges the end elements so that they completely lie in the superlayers consisting of several layers of the structural structure, for each super-layer determines characteristic of cooling, stress and deviation of shape, resulting from thermal shrinkage, determines stresses caused by hardening, and deviation of shape with allowance for superlayers in order of their creation, determines the average temperature of the corresponding superlayer, calculates the thermal shrinkage in the corresponding superlayer, taking into account the effective shrinkage coefficient for the hardened structural material, calculates relative thermal shrinkage in corresponding superlayer with due allowance for melting point of structural material and without considering other super layers, calculates resultant stresses and shape deviations in corresponding super-layer, shrinkage coefficient by calculation of stresses and shape changes in representative volume element made by additive manufacturing method (RVE) by finite element method (FEM).

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of the process of determining deviation of shape.
