FIELD: pharmacology.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmacology, namely to a composition and a method for preparing an anti-inflammatory preparation based on ketoprofen in the form of a lyophilizate for preparing a particle suspension with size of 200 to 300 nm. Anti-inflammatory preparation contains the following, wt%: active component – ketoprofen (5–6 %), polymer component – copolymer of lactic and glycolic acids (60–64 %), vector component – folic acid dodecylamide (0.006–0.007 %); surfactant – polyvinyl alcohol (10–12 %) and sodium chloride (20–24 %). Proposed method enables stable, reproducible and high output of obtaining a preparation representing a lyophilizate for injection.

EFFECT: use of the preparation leads to modification of profile of pharmacological activity of ketoprofen – high address effect in the area of inflammatory process, prolonged release and, consequently, higher therapeutic activity (anti-inflammatory and analgesic) and reduced by-product toxicity.
