SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cover for container (11) made of metal with possibility of containing substance in it. Cover comprises tear-off locking element (12), which is circumscribed by notched groove (14) having front section (18), opening lever (16) located across said cut groove (14) and having support front end (20) located in front of said front end (18), and intermediate section (23) provided with flexible tab (26), which is attached to said locking element (12).
EFFECT: mechanical clamping element (28) is provided, which is configured to perform mechanical attachment of said flexible element (26) to detachable locking element (12) and is located substantially tangentially to front end (18) of notched groove (14).
