SUBSTANCE: in compliance with this invention method of performing works to support metal rotor, such as drum, of turbine engine in working state upper surface and/or downstream surface (343) of circumferential recess (34) of rotor, having dents, which grinding is intended for their removal or at least smoothing, and profile element (43) is placed in recess between rotor blades (24) and rotor at least on section, where surface was ground. Profiled elements (43) are placed in said recess (34) between blades and rotor (28) at least at the section where the surface was ground.
EFFECT: elimination of systematic and early replacement of parts is achieved, as wear decreases, which causes their replacement.
