FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of thermoelectric conversion of thermal energy to electric energy and can be used for production of semiconductor thermoelectric cells and thermoelectric batteries therefrom used in thermoelectric generator designs. Method comprises forming a flat or radial-annular configuration of a thermopile with bifilar or axial branches connection into an electrical circuit by arranging branches of low-, medium- and high-temperature thermoelectric materials from electrically insulating gaskets in cells of a matrix cassette and applying electroconductive layers and an electrically insulating coating. At that, barrier anti-diffusion and contact layers on heat-absorbing and heat-dissipating surfaces of branches and electrically insulating coating are applied by method of cold gas-dynamic sputtering of powders of required functional composition. After application of contact layer, it is subjected to mechanical treatment.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of manufacturing and energy efficiency of thermoelectric batteries.
