FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to compositions for treating a symptom associated with menopause, and for treating a symptom associated with osteoporosis. Compositions contain an effective dosage of the ospemifene solid dispersion, wherein said solid dispersion contains ospemifene and a hydrophilic carrier selected from a group consisting of copovidone, polyvinylpyrrolidine, a copolymer of polyvinylpyrrolidine and vinyl acetate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, hypromellose succinate acetate, a copolymer of methacrylic acid, hydroxypropyl cellulose, a graft copolymer of polyvinyl caprolactam/polyvinyl acetate/polyethylene glycol, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalate and mixtures thereof. Invention also relates to aqueous solutions for treating a symptom associated with menopause, and for treating a symptom associated with osteoporosis, to a method of producing a composition, to pharmaceutical compositions, to a method of treating a symptom associated with menopause, and a method of treating osteoporosis.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the bioavailability of drugs, poorly soluble in water, and reducing the dose of such drugs.
