FIELD: transportation, packaging and storage.

SUBSTANCE: method of making crease lines on a packaging material having a fibrous base layer, comprising placing a packaging material on which crease lines are to be formed, between the elastic support and the extrusion tool having at least one comb-shaped projection facing the elastic support. Comb-like projection is pressed towards the elastic support so that the packaging material is subject to formation of a print. Width of the imprint continuously increases as the crest-like projection is pressed to the elastic support. Clamping crimping stage in direction to elastic support is performed so that width of print is continuously increased until bending line is completely squeezed. Squeezing of ledge-like projection towards elastic support is made so that width of print increases asymmetrically along mid-line of print.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides formation of clear folds and stable operation in formation of crease lines.
