FIELD: pharmaceutical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to a method for production of an extract from a grass of the Moldavian dragonhead. Method for obtaining an extract from a grass of the Moldovian dragonhead (Dracocephalum moldavica L.) containing flavonoids, having anti-inflammatory activity, consisting in extraction of ground raw material with ethyl alcohol, filtration, evaporation, wherein the dragonhead grass of the Moldavian dragonhead, collected in the budding and flowering phase, is extracted three times with 50 % ethyl alcohol, with the ratio of raw material:extractant equal to 1:10, at room temperature, with supply of fresh extractant equal to the drained extraction for each subsequent extraction, obtained extracts are successively evaporated as supplied to volume up to 1/20, the aqueous stills are combined and treated three times with chloroform in ratio of chloroform:water phase equal to 1:2, organic phase is separated, and the aqueous still residue is re-precipitated with 96 % ethyl alcohol in ratio of 1:10, settled precipitate is settled, twice washed with 96 % ethyl alcohol and filtered followed by drying in air or vacuum drying cabinet at temperature of 40 °C for 4 hours, obtained dry residue is dissolved in distilled water with addition of acetone, taken in ratio of water:acetone equal to 1:4, held for 1 hour, filtered, obtained filtrate is evaporated.

EFFECT: method enables to obtain high output of an end product having anti-inflammatory activity.
