SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preservation and prevention of death of natural complexes resulting from natural disasters. Method of extinguishing forest fires lies in elimination of inflammation focuses from helicopter, provided with water reservoir and device for its supply into inflammation focuses. Water reservoir is filled with water from reservoir located on land mobile equipment by means of pump. Water reservoir is placed on helicopter and connected with flexible hose, whose end is connected with pressure union of pump on mobile equipment. Remote part of hose is connected with lifting device for the length equal to the height of helicopter rise during fire extinguishing. Said device is raised into air together with empty hose. When water in reservoir on helicopter is used to minimally allowable remaining volume in the process of fire extinguishing, reservoir on helicopter is refilled with water by means of pump on land mobile equipment. Described cycles are repeated until fire-extinguishing operation is completed. In order to realise claimed method complex, which includes helicopter with water reservoir, land mobile equipment with water reservoir and pump, connected by means of flexible hole with reservoir on helicopter, is used. Hose is made with device for its connection with hook gripping unit of device for raising hose above earth surface.

EFFECT: group of inventions ensures efficiency of fire-extinguishing process with minimal possible required time and with limited amount of applied fire-extinguishing equipment.
