SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for production of multi-element rods in tobacco industry, which comprises a supply device configured to supply rod-like elements, a transmission device configured to transmit rod-like elements or groups of rod-like elements from the rod-like element supply device, into a forming device comprising a first rotary element provided with first projections having a first thickness and fixed relative to the first rotational element, and recesses between first projections, second rotary element provided with second projections, having second thickness and fixed relative to second rotary element, and recesses between second projections, third rotary element provided with third projections having a third thickness and fixed relative to the third rotational element, and recesses between the third projections, configured to move the rod-like elements, wherein recesses between first projections, recesses between second projections and recesses between third projections are configured to receive and move separate rod-like elements or groups of rod-like elements, wherein first rotary element, second rotary element and third rotary element are arranged and arranged to direct rod-like elements in series through first rotary element, second rotary element and third rotary element, wherein said device comprises a forming device configured to form a continuous multi-element rod, as well as a cutting device configured to cut the continuous multi-element rod into separate multi-element rods, note also that third projections third thickness is less than first projections first thickness.
EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring transportation of multi-element rods.
