FIELD: control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the metrology. Method of magnetic bearing device controlling includes the following stages: first and second pairs of diametrically opposite sensors are installed. Second pair is located with offset relative to first pair of sensors by angle α. Distance from sensor to body of revolution, which is located inside pairs of sensors, is determined by averaging over time of measurement of distance. Averaged distances are then compared. As soon as difference of distances exceeds limit value warning signal is issued. Second pair of diametrically opposed sensors is turned through an angle α from 60° up to 120° relative to first pair of diametrically opposite lying sensors.
EFFECT: improving control accuracy of rotation body position determination in active magnetic bearing.
