FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: welding system includes a welding station having a welding station computer and a welding system connected to the welding station computer with possibility of data exchange. Said welding system comprises a welding material feed device, a welding apparatus and a welding material feed motor assembly displacing the welding material to the welding apparatus. Said system also includes a weighing device functionally connected to the welding station computer to measure the weight of the supplied welding material and to transmit data on the weight of the supplied welding material to the welding station computer, and a sensor functionally connected to the welding material supply engine assembly and the welding station computer so as to transmit data on the welding material supply engine unit speed to the welding station computer. Welding station computer is functionally connected to welding material supply engine assembly to control engine speed based on weight data.
