SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to machining of materials and can be used in processing of complex workpieces, in particular turbomachine wheel blades. Cutting tool comprises replaceable cutting element and adapter made as single part, to which said element is attached with possibility of replacement. Replaceable cutting element has a substantially spherical housing with a cutting surface, inside which an internal thread is made, adapter comprises a central housing, which at one end has a flat annular surface forming a first contact surface and surrounding an inner cavity extending inside the housing, adapter has part with external thread passing from bottom of inner cavity and projecting out of it beyond flat annular surface. Said part is made with possibility of threaded interaction with said internal thread, adapter has first conical surface forming said inner cavity, and replaceable cutting tool has second conical surface intended for mutual alignment of adapter and cutting element when they are screwed together. Invention covers also design of tool assembly including cutting tool described above.

EFFECT: increased resistance of cutting tool and quality of machined surface.
