FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument engineering. Device for determining characteristics of gas and liquid samples includes a housing, an installation unit for placing a microplate with wells for analyzed samples, equipped with a spring-loaded retainer, which is configured to clamp the microplate when moving the mounting assembly relative to the external stop located on the body, reading the assembly, having a photodetector and an emitter connected to the power supply placed on opposite sides of the microplate movement plane, two step drives rigidly mounted on housing, detachable filter located in front of photodetector connected to corresponding input of processing, recording and control units, and drives are connected to the output, wherein the first drive is configured to move the mounting unit along the first axis. Additional detachable filter is introduced into the device. Both filters are combined into a filter unit connected to a second drive configured to move along a second axis perpendicular to the first one, and the photodetector and the radiator are made in the form of a set of optocouplers rigidly installed on the housing, which are aligned with the microplate holes in the direction of the second axis.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of measurement results.
