FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and can be used in determining water content of oil well product. Proposed method comprises production of separate well product into separation and accumulation tanks of measuring plant, separation of gas and accumulation of separated liquid with subsequent measurement of its amount by flow meter, and transmission of obtained values by telemetry. Measurement unit is used to measure volumetric and mass flow rate of separated product of well by means of volumetric and mass flow meters installed in series on measuring liquid line. On the basis of the obtained values of the amount of liquid flow meters per unit time is the ratio of mass to volume flow rate, and correction is made for volumetric flow rate through the volume oil coefficient, taking into account availability of dissolved gas at separation pressure. Then density of water-oil mixture of the measured liquid is calculated, then, using density of mixture and known values of oil and water densities, water content in well product is determined by formula where ρo, ρw – respectively density of oil and water, kg/m3; ρmix is density of mixture, kg/m3, and is determined from expression where qM, qV respectively the mass and volume flow rate of the liquid to be measured; bo – volumetric oil coefficient at separation pressure in accumulating capacity is determined from dependence , where Psep is pressure in measuring device, MPa; Psat is oil saturation pressure with gas, MPa; bsat is volume factor of formation oil.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy and simplification of method of determining water content of product.
