FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for recovery of various types of accumulator batteries intended for use on transport or other equipment. Method for regeneration of accumulator battery includes cycles of charging and discharging of accumulator battery, in process of charging, continuous and pulse charging current is supplied through accumulator battery from controlled thyristor rectifier, power supply of which is carried out from the secondary winding of the network transformer, measurement of charging current, voltage on the storage battery and temperature of the electrolyte, comparison of the measured values with predetermined values, in case of deviation from which a thyristor rectifier control signal is generated, which provides correction of the charging current value, before beginning the charging of the accumulator battery, determining the accumulator with the worst characteristics, which enters into this battery, and during charging of storage battery, additional measurement of voltage on said accumulator and measuring temperature of transformer, wherein all additionally measured values are compared with predetermined values, and control signal of thyristor rectifier providing correction of charging current value is formed taking into account values of deviations of additionally measured values of voltage on accumulator at discharge with worst characteristics and taking into account temperature values of transformer. Discharge of the battery is performed through an inverter connected to the output of the secondary winding of the mains transformer.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of regeneration of accumulator battery due to reduction of degree of non-uniformity of charge of accumulators in battery is technical result of invention.
