SUBSTANCE: in on-board charger supplied through an automatic circuit breaker in alternating-current network and containing a high-frequency voltage converter controlled from microcontroller-based control and display unit with feedback signals of the current sensor and voltage meter, the microcontroller-based control and display unit and sensors of the device are supplied from a separate AC-DC voltage converter with galvanic isolation, the voltage meter at the device output is made as a high-precision microcontroller-based voltage sensor with galvanic isolation and in the high-frequency voltage converter there is an additional current sensor and a voltage sensor with galvanic isolation as well as an electromagnetic switch connected to the microcontroller-based control and display unit.
EFFECT: improved measurement accuracy of output current and voltage, which ensure compliance with the required charge profile for the high-voltage battery and improved reliability of the protection device from the side of the alternating-current supply mains.
