SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a charger-discharge device for storage batteries. The device contains: switching equipment, AC voltage rectifier, DC voltage converter, voltage converter output filter, charge-discharge current and voltage sensors, input-output device, voltage converter output filter, charge-discharge current and voltage sensors, regenerative voltage inverter. The block for monitoring the internal resistance, the degree of aging and battery charge, is interconnected with the microprocessor control system for charging and discharging the battery, which, according to the signals of the current and voltage sensors and the internal resistance control block, keeps a protocol for measuring all control parameters with the possibility of transferring the protocol to a PC for further processing.

EFFECT: service life of the batteries is increased.
