SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to computer engineering and can be used to analyse failures in distribution systems. Visual tools are provided for analysis of failures in distributed systems. Errors from synthetic measurements and usage data associated with a cloud-based service are aggregated by an administration application. Errors are processed to create a distribution which segments errors based on cloud-based service components. Faulty component which generates subset of errors associated with failure is allocated. Failed component is one of cloud-based service components. Distribution is provided in the visualization to determine failure by denoting the failed component with fault information near the failed component.
EFFECT: technical result is providing visual tools for analysing failures.
