END FACE PULSE SEAL ASSEMBLY OPERATING IN CRYOGENIC MEDIA, (VERSIONS) AND METHOD OF ITS MANUFACTURING Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC F16J15/34

Abstract RU 2696423 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to sealing equipment, namely, to end impulse seal assemblies. Assembly includes axially-movable thrust ring installed in housing and provided with secondary seal made integral with axially movable thrust ring, bearing ring and sealing bushing fixed on the shaft and made of beryllium bronze BrB2 or nickel alloy HN58MBUD with soft antifriction coating on contacting sealing surfaces. Axial-movable thrust ring with secondary seal are made of beryllium bronze BrB2, support ring and sealing bushing are made of alloy HN58MBUD, and soft antifriction coating on contacting sealing surfaces of support ring, axial-movable ring, secondary seal and sealing bushing, made from nickel alloy HN58MBUD, is an indium coating. In compliance with second version, axial-movable thrust ring with secondary seal are made from nickel alloy HN58MBUD, support ring and sealing bushing are made of beryllium bronze BrB2. In the method, indium is applied on contacting sealing surfaces of axially movable ring and secondary seal by immersion into its melt, and on contacting sealing surfaces of the support ring and sealing bushing indium is applied by method of electroerosion alloying.

EFFECT: reliable operation in high-pressure cryogenic media at high rotation speeds.
