FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and soil science, namely to a method of assessing soil toxicity for increasing yield of grain crops. Assessment of soil toxicity is carried out by value of inhibition (I1) development of seeds of grain crops during their sowing on this soil and data on assessment of toxicosis of soil treated with serum or manure, according to value of inhibition of seed development on soil treated with ameliorant (I2). Value of I1 indicates the need to treat soil with such additives as milk whey or manure. If I1 40 % is exceeded, necessity of soil treatment with reclamation agent is determined to produce stable harvests of grain crops. Evaluation of the reclamation agent use efficiency is determined by the inhibition value decrease size ΔI, calculated by determining difference between I1 and I2.

EFFECT: invention provides reducing toxicity of allelotoxins of grey forest soil by using reclaiming additives – milk whey or manure; in particular, treatment of soil with milk whey or manure reduces inhibition of development of seeds by 18 % and 12 % respectively; wherein use of milk whey is 1½ times more effective compared to the use of manure.
