FIELD: corrosion protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to protect gas pipelines and other underground metal structures when they run in the zone of movement of rail electric transport. The device contains a transformer, a rectifier, a filter, anode grounding switches of the main and additional metal structures, power switches, valves, filters, integrators, modulators, sensors and protective potential setters, longitudinal and transverse corrosion monitoring elements, corrosion monitoring switches, resistance meters, synchronization unit measurements, delay line, longitudinal and transverse corrective elements for corrosion monitoring of the main and N additional protected structures.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of cathodic corrosion protection by monitoring the longitudinal and transverse corrosion effects relative to the pipeline and correcting the value of the protective potential in real time.
