SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. System for backup power supply of railway automation, telemechanics and communication facilities includes in-series connected charging devices unit, which input is intended for connection of primary power source, a unit of storage batteries, a unit of voltage converters and a switching unit, control inputs of which are connected to outputs of the unit of voltage and load current sensors connected to control outputs of the unit of voltage converters, output of switching unit is intended for connection of railway automation, telemechanics and communication devices, unit of voltage converters is made with possibility to connect voltage source to it through additional input, one of terminals of which is connected to rail of rail track, and the other one is connected to rigid contact wire installed along rail track at station and approaching section, on each locomotive using for movement of this rail track, a current-collecting element is installed with possibility of its interaction with rigid contact wire, at the same time poles of onboard storage battery of diesel locomotive are connected to current-collecting element and wheel pair respectively.

EFFECT: technical result is high reliability of device.
