FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: starting mixture contains 30 wt% of chromium-containing part containing fractioned wastes of chromium-containing refractory or their mixture and lubricating and enveloping material, and 70 wt% of silica-containing part, in which silicon dioxide is mainly contained in a chemical compound of aluminosilicate system SiO2-Al2O3 and in chemical composition of magnesium silicate system SiO2-MgO. Ingredients of the first part of the mixture are taken in the following ratio, wt%: fractioned wastes of chromium-containing refractory materials (25–35), lubricating and enveloping material (2–5), chromite concentrate (balance up to 100 %). Ingredients of the second part of the mixture are taken in the following ratio, wt%: chemical compound of aluminosilicate system SiO2-Al2O3 (30–40), a chemical compound of magnesium silicate system SiO2-MgO (balance up to 100 %). Coating and lubricating material are represented by talc with grain size limit of 0.063 mm.
EFFECT: providing mobility of slag phase, reducing amount of slag, reducing concentrations of aggressive to lining components in slag.
