FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method and device for electric energy accumulator current limitation depending on temperature. According to the invention, the maximum permissible charge and/or discharge current of the energy accumulator is adapted depending on the energy accumulator temperature, wherein the following steps are carried out: finding a plurality of time-passing energy accumulator values during the current time interval (S1); determining current mean value of energy accumulator temperature during current time interval from found values of energy accumulator temperature (S2); comparing the determined current average value with the predetermined nominal temperature value (S3); and limiting maximum allowable charge and/or discharge current of the energy accumulator if the determined current average value is greater than the nominal temperature value (S4).
EFFECT: increased service life of accumulator battery is technical result of invention.
