FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in storage battery restoration method the preliminary charge of storage battery with direct current, after which the storage battery is charged by passing through it of sequence of rectangular current pulses; at that, during the charging process the voltage on battery, temperature of electrolyte and its density is measured, and measured parameters are recorded, and prior to restoration of storage battery the process parameters of the storage battery are stored; then they are compared during restoration of storage battery with current values of parameters of restoration process of storage battery; after that, they are corrected, and in case they deviate from the specified value of process parameters, the charging of storage battery with direct current is stopped when current values of parameters achieve the specified values of parameters stored in memory; after that, the charging of storage battery is performed by passing through it of sequence of rectangular current pulses the amplitudes of which is maintained constant at electrolyte temperature below the specified value, and in case electrolyte temperature value exceeds this value, then the amplitude of rectangular current pulses is reduced to the value at which the electrolyte temperature is decreased to the pre-set value. Charging of storage battery is performed by passing through it of sequence of rectangular current pulses with amplitude of 400-480 A and pulse ratio of 100-400, and in pauses between actions of rectangular pulse ratio there performed is charging of storage battery, and cycles of charging with rectangular pulses and discharging in pauses between them are stopped when the measured values of parameters reach the values of parameters, which determine the end of the battery charging process and pre-stored; after that, measurement of the battery capacity is performed by its monitoring discharge that is stopped when the voltage value on battery reaches maximum allowable value set for this battery. Device for implementation of battery restoration method is described as well.
EFFECT: reducing the restoration time of independent power supplies; increasing their capacity at simultaneous reduction of electric power consumption.
