FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to technologies using airgel and can be used for production of heat-insulating materials for wide application. Technical result is achieved when producing material by making reinforcing structure, in which airgel is introduced with subsequent drying to produce target heat-insulating material, wherein reinforcing structure is made in form of fibrous substrate with density of 0.001–0.1 g/cm3, which consists of fibers with diameter of 0.1–20 mcm, to obtain airgel, a sol is first obtained by mixing silane with an organic solvent and an aqueous solution of acid with holding a molar ratio of silane:organic solvent:H2O:acid, equal to 2:(5–10):(2–8):(1–10)×10-3, and held for 24 hours, after that, additional amount of organic solvent is added to obtained sol at stirring while sol is reached to achieve ratio of sol to organic solvent of 1.2–2 and gel agent is introduced – base solution with molar ratio of silane: base equal to 1:(1–5)×10-2, and holding for gelation for 10–60 minutes, and then produced airgel is introduced into reinforcing structure by their combined centrifugation and aging of composite material.
EFFECT: result consists in expansion of application area and production of heat-insulating materials with relatively low coefficient of heat conductivity in wide range of temperatures, improved absorbing properties of electromagnetic radiation in area of infrared spectrum, increased mechanical strength and flexibility, reduced drop-off.
