FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlling the operation of an internal combustion engine. EGR cooler in the invention includes: a gas path configured to allow the EGR gas to flow; a coolant feed path configured to perform heat exchange between the EGR gas circulating along the gas path and the coolant; containing exothermal body, having such configuration, in which exothermal body, which is to generate heat through adsorption of the predetermined working gas, is contained in the EGR cooler and at least part of the exothermal body is in contact with the wall surface of the gas path; working gas tank, in which working gas is accumulated; and a gas transfer device configured to move the working gas accumulated in the working gas tank from the working gas tank into the exothermic body-containing portion.
EFFECT: disclosed is coolant of exhaust gas recycling system.
