FIELD: internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: ignition plug 10 comprises an elongated cylindrical housing (12) made of an electrically insulating material, having first end (12.1) with a first face surface (14) and second end (12.2), opposite to the first one. First elongated electrode (16) having first end (16.1) and second end (16.2) extends in the housing in its longitudinal direction. First end of the electrode ends at a first distance d1 from the first face end of the body towards the second end of the body so that blind hole (18) is formed between the first end of the first electrode and the first end of the body. On outer surface of housing there is a second electrode, which ends or flushes with first face surface (14) of housing, or at second distance d2 from first front end of housing in direction to second end of housing.

EFFECT: invention relates to an ignition plug for an internal combustion engine.
