SUBSTANCE: invention relates to satellite navigation. Post-processing system providing direct processing (FP) of initial primary GNSS data and alternative direct-inverse processing (BP) of modified primary GNSS data and combining results of FP and modified BP to increase accuracy of position data derived from primary data of GNSS. Post-processing system includes a GNSS processing machine, for example a real-time PVT machine, which processes GNSS raw data files as real-time data streams the same for FP and BP. Inverse processing is carried out on a set of primary GNSS data, which are mirrored from initial primary data of GNSS. Modified BP uses the same algorithms as the PVT machine in the forward pass, but with mirrored primary GNSS data to provide BP, which includes position estimation with corresponding accuracy estimates for each data period. Forward/reverse coupler combines results of FP and modified BP to provide final positional data with high accuracy.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of positioning.
