FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to electric traction created by linear motors. System for braking or launching a ride vehicle comprises a linear asynchronous motor mounted on a track bent section, a ride vehicle located on the track, reactive plates, sensors and a processor. Reactive plates are attached to side of ride vehicle for track facing track by means of multiple actuators. Sensors are configured to determine air gap between reactive plates and linear asynchronous motor. Processor is configured to determine which of the plurality of actuators to actuate and the desired operating parameter of each of the plurality of actuators based on data received from the sensors, for bending of reactive plates for maintenance of air gap at the required level throughout the passage of the curved track section by the ride vehicle. Invention also discloses a version of the system and method of braking or launching a ride vehicle.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of ride vehicle movement control for riding on bent sections of track.
