SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to electric traction systems created by linear motors. The propulsion system comprises one or more mobile vehicles containing a jet plate, a surface matrix of stators containing multiple single-sided linear induction motors (SSLIM), and multiple electric motor control devices designed to be electrically connected to multiple of SSLIM through a switching panel and a control system. The control system is designed to receive information related to mobile vehicles, receive the desired motion profile for mobile vehicles from the surface matrix of stators, determine which of the multiple SSLIMs to activate, and send control signals to the multiple motor control devices to control the multiple SSLIMs to create the desired motion profile. A method for controlling the movement of one or more mobile vehicles and a variant of the propulsion system are also claimed.
EFFECT: providing different motion profiles for mobile vehicles.
