FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking industry, in particular, to debarking of timber. Superheated steam is supplied from the nozzle to the timber for debarking, the kinetic and thermal energy of which is sufficient to separate the bark. Superheated steam is generated in steam generator and superheater, in which heat energy is supplied to water and water steam. Timber for debarking is turned along the longitudinal axis so that the next section of its surface gets into action of the superheated steam jet. Upon completion of the full rotation of the timber for debarking, the nozzle is moved along the longitudinal axis of timber for debarking to the width of the nozzle. Cycle is repeated till the wood-finished timber is completely debarking.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of debarking of frozen timber.
