FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking industry, in particular, to debarking of timber. High-temperature flue gases are supplied from the nozzle to the timber for debarking, the kinetic and thermal energy of which is sufficient for separation of bark. Flue gases are formed in combustion chamber where fuel and air mix is burnt. Timber for debarking is turned along the longitudinal axis so that the next section of its surface falls under the effect of the flue gas jet. Upon completion of the full rotation of the timber for debarking, the nozzle is moved along the longitudinal axis of the timber for debarking to the width of the nozzle. Cycle is repeated till the dug timber is completely dug.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of debarking of frozen timber.
