FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measurement equipment and can be used to determine the value characterizing thermal resistance of any type of separation wall between two medium, especially walls of the building, walls of the vehicle, walls of the furnace, walls of the reservoir. Disclosed is a method which is aimed at determining a value characterizing thermal resistance of the separation wall between a first medium and a second medium, comprising steps, at which for at least two consecutive Dk periods time corresponding to different power Pk heating first medium, measuring heat flux qk heat through wall, and temperature T1k in a first medium through close time intervals, as well as determining temperature T2k in the second medium through close time intervals. Determining value of value, which characterizes thermal resistance of wall, achieving match: on one side, heat model, expressing change in time of temperature of one medium, separated from other medium wall, depending on the heat flow through the wall, the temperature of the other medium and the physical parameters of the wall, based on which the value characterizing the thermal resistance of the wall is calculated; and, on the other hand, measured variation of T1k(t) temperature in the first medium depending on time.
EFFECT: high accuracy of obtained results with simultaneous increase in the rapidness of the method.
